Telix v3.15/v3.21/v3.22 for DOS:
DIP Switches: 3, 5 and 8 DOWN (ON)
All program options are selected by first hitting "Alt-O" in terminal mode. The below options are then available on a setup menu:
| CHANGE PORT: | Select "Terminal Options", then click "A" to change the COM Port, baud rate and line settings. |
| CHANGE IRQ: | Select "Com Port Setup". From here you can modify the port address and IRQ level for each COM Port, from 1-8. |
| INIT STRING: | Select "Modem and Dialing", then click "A" to change the init string. Set the init string to ~AT&F&B1&H1&R2&A3&K3X4S11=40^M. Also make sure that option M, "Auto baud detect", is turned OFF. |
| TERMINAL MODE: | The program starts in terminal mode. |
When first installing Telix, you will be prompted for a modem type. All USRobotics high speed modems are listed, so select your model, or the one closest to it. If you are having problems, try re-installing your software, re-selecting your modem type.
| Note: | If you are using Telix v3.21, update to version 3.22. We have found problems with v3.21 dropping DTR and closing the port with 16550 UARTs. |
