Rapidcomm/Rapidcomm Voice FAQ

Issue

How to send a fax using RapidComm and RapidComm Voice.

Resolution

There are 3 ways to send a fax. RapidComm and RapidComm Voice both install a Print Driver during installation. This driver allows you to print out documents, or files, straight from the application they were created in. To print right out of an application, click on File, then Print. Make sure that RapidComm or RapidComm Voice is seleceted as your Printer Name and click OK.

Another method of sending a fax is to use the Sendfax Option in both RapidComm and RapidComm Voice. Do this by clicking on "Start", then "Sendfax". You will now be required to fill in the Fax Number, Name, Company, Subject and Subject Note. Once completed, click on "Attachments..." to select the file you would like to attach. We recommend you only attach text files, for RapidComm/RapidComm Voice will not be able to convert some file formats. Now click on "Send Fax".

Lastly, you can use Quickfax. This method is used to send quick notes, instead of a file or document. To send a QuickFax, click Start, QuickFax. Fill out the Fax Number, Name, Company, Subject and Quickfax Note. Once completed, click Send Fax.
