Determine Your Product Firmware
Before continuing, determine if there is a newer firmware for your modem. First, determine which firmware level is currently on your modem.

Determine If A Newer Firmware Exists
Search our file library for a firmware upgrade. Go to drivers page. Find your product model from the list.

This will return all drivers and upgrades for your product. You can determine if there is a newer firmware by the file name. For example: if your current firmware level is TK203 and you see a file named TK206.EXE, this indicates that a newer firmware has been issued for your product. If your current firmware is TC201, you may see files like TC204.EXE and TC206.EXE these would indicate two newer firmware revisions for your product.

Download And Install The Firmware Upgrade
Download the newest firmware for your product (highest number). Once the file is downloaded you can upgrade your modem by running the upgrade.

IMPORTANT: Log off from your internet connection and close all programs before running any firmware upgrade. Disable screen savers and any other programs that may be running in the background. It is important that the firmware upgrade process is not interrupted in any way. This can damage the modem.
