Question: I have a Gateway Solo 9100 running Windows NT 4.0 and I can't get my PCMCIA modem working. Answer: A Gateway Solo 9100 Machine running Windows NT 4.0 will require that 3rd party Card & Socket services are loaded in order to get ANY PCMCIA serial device to function.
